The Humble Beginning
Lancer Food Products was established in the year 2000 with its first manufacturing unit in NOIDA as first step towards manufacturing biscuits and cookies in India. The promising start led to an expansion in manufacturing capabilities with setting up of another plant in Uttarakhand.
The operations in the new plant were started in 2009 with an annual production capacity of 40,000 Metric Tonnes of biscuits and 1,200 Metric Tonnes of cookies.
The Infrastructure
The plant is equipped with microprocessor based machine control, automatic material handling cum feeding systems and online packaging units.
The cookies plant is equipped with Italian and Japanese machines to cater to the needs of those who expect the best in quality.
We manufacture a range of biscuits including Glucose, Coconut, Butter Pie, Cashew cookies in the sweet biscuits segment. The salted varieties include Tiffins and Top O’ Top. Range of cream biscuits are manufactured under the brand name Fundoo with four flavours to choose from : Orange, Elaichi, Chocolate and Milk.
The Vision
With total food production in India likely to double in the next 10 years and the ever increasing contribution of Indian industry in the world food trade, we wish to gain a considerable market share in India as well as export our products abroad in next couple of years.
Our plan for the next financial year is to achieve a compound growth rate of 15-20 % and we are actively working towards the same. This includes introducing new products to the market, improved marketing strategies, motivating and incentivsing the sales force etc.
